Sao Paolo, right outside of the CTM

L-R: Elder Giles, Elder Rast, Elder Franklin (my companion) in the courtyard of the CTM

Me and Elder Giles.  He is in the Navy and his parents are deaf.

My district and the classroom I spent 500 hours in -- bonus: maverick water bottle

We dem boys

This is outside the window on the other side of the CTM -- the biggest city in the world.

A Brasilian drew this for us.
Me awkwardly standing in front of the Sao Paolo Temple.

We dem boys, part 2.

Navy and Army

My new companions after Elder Franklin went home -- the guy on the right went to Pleasant Grove High.

Acai -- this stuff is the bomb.

Look closely and you can see the Brasilian District calling us "fubecas," which means "jack mormons."  The sister in the picture is Sister Bundy.  I buy Kinder Eggs and give her the toys because she loves them.

This is Elder Lira -- he is the coolest person I have met yet.  He has a really strong testimony and has a unique perspective on life.  He told me that his mom has cancer, and he said goodbye to her for good when he left for his mission because he didn't think she will survive.  I will always remember this guy.

This is our whole district.  We gained two guys from Provo, but then lost them the next week along with one of our sisters.

This is my district with our male instructor, Irmao Pavari.

This is a really bad picture of my district with our female instructor, Irma Morceli, who served in Las Vegas.

Elder Tanner Nelson, who is in my stake in my uncle Adam's ward.
We dem boys part 3: we all out here reppin' PG.  The guy next to me, his dad is in my unit -- I think.

My broken toe.

All the missionaries going to Natal.  I ended up paying R$1400 (416 USD) for baggage fees for me and another elder who's credit card didn't work.  The info the CTM gave us was wrong -- the maximum weight was 25 kilos for 2 bags, and I was 19 kilos over.  So stupid, but I'll be reimbursed.
